Most people who think 2012 predictions and prophecy of the end of the world end up being introduced to the poems of the soothsayer Mother Shipton of Knaresborough, Yorkshire, England.

 

The legendary prophetess was part of this History Channel 2012 documentary released sometime before 2012 ;).

 

The Shipton stuff starts at about 5:00. The narrator tells of how the old hag from England predicted stuff like the burning of London, the great world war, the death of royals, World War II, and the end of the world.

 

But did she asks this History Channel 2012 documentary ? Or was she the product of the imagination of a desperate author who post-dicted instead of predicted the events of the future.
