The history of invention is also subject to who's model of history one follows. In the modern schools, school children and adult learners are taught the logical explanation of what human evolution is. Mostly Darwinism is the acceptable answer where humans evolved through spontaneous genetic mutation from early hominids to Sapiens or humans. The term used today for such mutations is mutagenesis.

 

However those who like to challenge modern scholars sometimes prefer to talk of human evolution as involving panspermia where space matter contains genetic code or spores of life that lie dormant until the proper conditions allow their species to develop. Other alternate historians follow the belief that alien life preceded human life and that we humans are not descendants of apes but a parallel species to other hominids. Yet others believe that the historical books that are used in modern schools do not contain all of the facts of evolution and that lost continents which would have been inhabited by technologically and spiritually advanced people play a role in ancient inventions, innovations, and the advancement or deterioration of human evolution. Of course we are thinking Atlantis and the Atlanteans and Lemuria and the Chimu here.
